Together with ROCs (Regional Education Centers), care organizations and the Cities of Amsterdam and Almere, ahti is working on the project ‘Zorg in de wijk in de 21e eeuw’ (‘Neighborhood care in the 21st century’). In this alliance, learning and working are brought together in existing care locations in the neighborhood – so-called Fieldlabs. Goal is to find a better fit between education and practice, so that care professionals and other care providers can respond better to the changing care needs of clients in their community.

Windesheim Zwolle and ahti are doing research on how clients, students, teachers, care professionals, companies and municipalities use the Fieldlabs in Amsterdam and Almere as an education and meeting place.

Read more about the Fieldlabs in newspaper Het Parool (Dutch).
