NLC brings (scientific) innovations further by bringing together entrepreneurs, relevant technology and risk-bearing capital and developing them as a startup. To do this, they have developed an extensive network of knowledge parties and talent. At this moment, NLC works with more than 11 startups.

The City of Amsterdam started in December 2017 with their third edition of ‘Startup in Residence’. In this program, the City once again cooperates with startups to solve social issues with innovative ideas and offers itself among other things as launching customer.

What is it about?
The technological possibilities are growing day by day and as a result, we are able to develop smarter products to make healthcare better and sometimes cheaper. Nevertheless, success in the healthcare market is complex and often takes a lot of time. How can we shorten the time it takes to implement innovations?

Bert-Arjan Millenaar will talk about the complexities that startups in the healthcare sector have to deal with; how can you be successful? What are the tips and tricks, what are the biggest pitfalls and which rules are important in healthcare? Ger Baron talks about the social importance of accelerating innovations in healthcare and how Amsterdam wants to contribute as an important player in this field.

Why ahti Connect?
