Thursday, September 14, is the kick-off of a new series of ahti events at the Amsterdam health & technology center (AHTC). Theme of the first event is ‘Smart logistics in healthcare’.

Speakers will be Prof. Dr. Rob van der Mei of the CWI (Centrum Wiskunde & Informatica – the Netherlands’ national research institute for mathematics and computer science) and Jaap Frank Ponstein, director of Ambulance Amsterdam.

Organizing ambulance services is becoming more and more complex. A city like Amsterdam is making logistics even more challenging. However, thanks to smart technology and data analysis, it is still possible to manage bottlenecks, control costs and stay in charge.

How do they do this? And what can other health professionals learn from this? Afterwards, there will be plenty of time to meet others and exchange ideas while enjoying drinks and snacks. Let us know if you would like to join the event by sending an email to communications@ahti.nl. Please note: this event is in Dutch. Space is limited, so register as soon as possible.

We hope to see you there!
